The Office of the State Auditor maintains the State Auditor's Hotline to report allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, or mismanagement in state government.

To investigate the information you report, please provide as much detail as possible concerning the who, what, when, where, how, and how much.

You may report your concerns anonymously, or you may choose to include contact information.  We encourage you to call the Hotline toll-free at 1-800-730-TIPS (1-800-730-8477) during regular business hours to discuss your concerns with an investigator.

The Office of the State Auditor generally conducts its investigations confidentially and neither confirms nor denies the existence of an investigation.  We do this to protect the integrity and effectiveness of our investigative process and to preserve the privacy of the individuals and entities involved.  As a result, we do not provide updates on the status of any investigation.
